ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Michelle D. Fowler
Michelle D. Fowler is an Indianapolis-based writer with a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in teaching. She spent more than a decade in classrooms—first as a paraeducator and later as a teacher—learning how much of a child’s story can disappear beneath a behavior label.
Her children’s work begins where the easiest explanation stops. Her writing for adults follows the same red thread through self-trust, reinvention, and the meaning carried by unfinished lives. Across both shelves, she asks readers to look again—and make room for the whole person to come into view.
